Discover Parc Guell, one of the most impressive public parks in the world and one of Gaudi's masterpieces where he let loose his imagination with amazing buildings, sculptures and tile work. Next, explore the most popular monument in Spain, Antoni Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece La Sagrada Familia, still under construction after more than 100 years. Also see the Columbus Monument, Parc de Montjuic, and several UNESCO World Heritage sites linked to Antoni Gaudi including the unconventional Casa Mila building and Batllo House. The afternoon is at leisure to relax, explore independently or perhaps take an optional excursion to Montserrat, a spectacular mountaintop monastery.|
|Day 4||Barcelona||Barcelona - Choice of Walking Tours: Today it's your choice of locally guided walking tours! You may choose to begin at the 14th-century basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, created in pure Catalan Gothic style, followed by a leisurely paced walking tour of Barcelona's historic Gothic Quarter, a beautifully preserved neighborhood with medieval squares set inside a labyrinth of streets leading to the 13th-century La Seu Cathedral. Or perhaps you will choose to meet the locals while exploring La Boqueria, Barcelona's largest and oldest open-air market, portions of which date back to the Middle Ages; then head to Las Ramblas Boulevard, the most famous walking street in Barcelona; discover famous landmarks such as Gran Teatre del Liceu, Plaza Real, Palau de la Virreina, and one of Antoni Gaudi's architectural treasures - Guell Palace. Arrive in the small town of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, the birthplace of cava. Take in the sights, smells, tastes, sounds, textures and sensations during a fun-filled interactive cooking class followed by a delightful lunch of Catalan specialties. Later, tour the beautiful Codorniu cellars, the world's largest producer of cava. Be immersed in the Art Nouveau style of architecture, along with the history, traditions and innovations of winemaking. Sample a variety of wines before proceeding to the whitewashed coastal town of Sitges, known for its beaches, compact old town, classic Art Deco buildings and the seafront promenade. Enjoy free time exploring this delightful town before returning to Barcelona.|

You may choose an optional excursion to Figueres and the famed Dali Theatre-Museum for insight into the surrealist world of Salvador Dali.
